id design award 2009 International competition

[Manufacturing respecting the creators]

In the Japanese design market, there are limited opportunities for designers to spontaneously present their authentic ideas. To encourage the design market of Japan, we believe that we need to take on board as many ideas as possible for new life-style products.

[A competition for everyone]

“id Design Award” makes a connection among the creators, the manufactures. This is not a competition which is held by only one maker. We aim to make opportunities to turn many fresh ideas into real products.

[From A to Z]

We have created a wide open gateway for any designers with ideas for “new lifestyle products”. We not only commercialize new ideas as much as possible, but also build up distribution systems.

We are searching for the new “lifestyle idea” of a lifetime, with the creators, the makers and the retailers. This competition is like no other competition we have ever had. There are no rules about creative ideas presented. In the period that a lot of people focus on the design, you will greatly increase your business chances through the “id Design Award”. We cordially invite you to join us in the “id Design Award 2009”!
